Lunds & Byerlys Techs in Training is a full-time training program designed to provide the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to build a successful career as a maintenance technician in our manufacturing and retail facilities. Our maintenance team members are highly skilled and critical to uninterrupted and smooth operations. Skills learned will be in the areas of automation, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, preventative maintenance and equipment servicing. A little bit about what we're looking for... You will: Spend time at our manufacturing facility in Eden Prairie, and travel to our various Lunds and Byerlys stores, learning how to perform various types of maintenance on the equipment. Learn how to safely and effectively work in a food manufacturing and retail environment. Master the skills and knowledge required to be a Maintenance Technician Level C. We will: Provide high-quality, personalized, and hands-on learning and development experiences. Program Outcomes: By the end of the program, participants will: Operate safely and independently across retail and manufacturing settings. Assess and perform basic diagnostics of maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and responsiveness. Uphold food safety and compliance standards. Schedule: This is a full-time, 40 hour a week opportunity. The training program will take place over 6 months. Throughout those 6 months you will work a variety of shifts throughout the week to gain experience in different settings in different situations. Our retail and manufacturing facilities run 7 days a week. Schedules are provided two weeks in advance. Compensation: Starting compensation for this opportunity will range from $20.00-$24.00/hr based on any previous relevant experience.
