About The Position

Maintenance Manager in Training (MMIT) We are looking for ambitious, driven leaders who are interested in learning more about the poultry industry, what it takes to effectively manage by the company’s vision, how to improve organizational effectiveness by showing exemplary leadership and maintaining the organization’s core values. GENERAL SUMMARY: MMIT position is a 2-year training program designed for individuals with industrial maintenance superintendent/supervisor experience , which focuses on equipping and develop ing the skills necessary to become a maintenance manager within the company. This program utiliz es the Pilgrims Maintenance Pillar Process.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess 2-5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance operations, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a proven record of managing teams effectively.

Nice To Haves

• A ssociate’s degree preferred , or completion of Vocational/Technical specialty certification/licensure program in a related field. Work experience will be considered in leu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Master implementing a preventive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering, plant maintenance staff and equipment suppliers.
• Collaborate with the maintenance director to train team members on the ongoing enhancement of the Pilgrims Maintenance Pillar and develop materials to clearly convey expectation s , procedures and tools.
• Leverage various software and technolog ies to improve processes, data capture and spend/reliability analysis.
• Provides Maintenance Pillar and CMMS education and training for plant maintenance teams to improve work performance and equipment reliability.
• Develop the skills to track maintenance department performance.
• Learned maintenance budget ing methods to assist facilities during the budgeting process.
• Analyze and compare maintenance expenditures across plants to identify and share best practices for equipment upkeep and performance improvement.
• Develops master PM templates, content and optimal spend for critical equipment.
• Serves as a Pilgrims expert o n CMMS functionality and procedures.
• Serves as liaison with safety and QA , ensuring maintenance processes support our people and food safety initiatives.
• C omplete various projects and activities provided by the Maintenance Director.
• Must be able to travel 50% -75% of time, with overnight stays of 1-4 days.
• Must be able to work independently and exhibit Pilgrim values.
• Must be able to traverse processing areas and equipment.
• M ust be able , and willing to relocate if required.

• Base Salary range of $ 100 ,000 +/- based on experience
