Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshooting: Diagnosing issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics Independent Operation: Unlike entry-level Tech I roles, a Tech II is expected to work independently, exercise judgment, and operate a full range of specialized tools and equipment. Electrical & Control Systems: Maintains basic electrical circuits and may handle specialized control systems like PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) or telecommunication equipment. Preventative Maintenance: Performs routine upkeep, including lubrication, calibration, and part fabrication to prevent system failures. Administrative documentation: Maintaining detailed repair and maintenance records. Fabrication: Creating or modifying parts as needed. Adjustments: Calibrating equipment for optimal performance.
Requirements
- Education – High School or equivalent
- Experience – Required: 2–4 years of technical experience
- A minimum of three (3) years field experience in working on electro-mechanical systems.
- Computer literacy, with database experience.
- Experience working with basic tools preferred (i.e. drill press, brake, multimeter, milling machine, MIG, TIG, lathes, etc.)
- Good oral and written skills to prepare and deliver reports to management.
Nice To Haves
- High vacuum systems experience a plus.
- SAP preferred.
