Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with guests in English
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Facilities Maintenance
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and perform grasping, stooping, and overheard reaching with or without accommodations.
  • EPA Certification Required
  • Driver’s License required

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC trade school certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain guestrooms, public areas, and back areas, ensuring a well-kept property.
  • Repairs boilers, plumbing, pumps, exhaust fans, and HVAC equipment, including new refrigerants.
  • Completes maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders.
  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment; install new components.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatuses, such as transformers, wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
  • Set up and operate machine tools, such as grinders and drills, to repair and fabricate machine parts.
  • Provide customer service to fellow team members, members, owners, and guests.
  • Respond to calls and questions from members, owners, and guests.
  • Conduct proper building rounds and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Maintain, clean, and chemically balance pools, spas, and water features as directed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn and operate within the different property-specific computer platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
