About The Position
The Maintenance Technician III serves as a technical leader responsible for complex troubleshooting, project coordination, and mentoring. This position ensures high system reliability and continuous improvement across plant operations.
Requirements
- Advanced mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting expertise.
- Strong PLC and automation knowledge (Allen-Bradley preferred).
- Ability to analyze downtime data and recommend solutions.
- Leadership, planning, and cross-departmental communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead root cause analysis and diagnostics for major equipment breakdowns.
- Coordinate daily maintenance priorities with planners and supervisors.
- Train, coach, and mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians.
- Design and implement safety and reliability improvements to machinery.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of plant systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, automation).
- Support USDA, Cal/OSHA, and CCOF compliance audits through documentation and system verification.
- Participate in capital project planning, installations, and commissioning.
