About The Position

As Maintenance Technician II, you’ll work with a team of technicians to perform a variety of tasks, including day to day maintenance and operations of the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems for our headquarters building. Knowledge of building operations, HVAC systems, and a focus on safety are keys to success in this role! Requirements

  • Two (2) year degree from Vocational/Technical/Business school or high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience; a minimum of three (3) years experience in the HVAC industry to include installation, repair or maintenance
  • The ability to: Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
  • Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
  • Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
  • Use hand tools
  • Must be willing to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
  • Must have Mechanical journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma, a State Boiler Operator license, and a first class limited Engineer's license
  • Must possess an EPA refrigerant certification
  • Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • This role includes work performed within a facility regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Accordingly, successful completion of a background investigation conducted through the FDIC is required as a condition for obtaining an additional access badge.

Responsibilities

  • Operates, maintains, and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other related equipment to ensure its safe and efficient operation
  • Responds to tenant requests in a courteous and efficient manner and reports unresolved issues to leaders
  • Takes readings on equipment regularly, analyzes readings, and makes adjustments to equipment as needed
  • Maintains and operates chillers, boilers cooling towers, and related equipment
  • Solves problems with building fire and energy management systems
  • Inspects and tests elevators, fire pumps, generators, carbon monoxide sensors, and other facility equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
