Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year in the Maintenance Technician I position or two (2) years of previous maintenance experience, preferably in property management
  • Intermediate skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair
  • Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and property safety protocols
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation for job-related tasks

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repairs, and janitorial duties
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedules and safety protocols, ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Conduct landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and overseeing contracted landscaping vendors
  • Coordinate with the property manager to identify maintenance needs and document completed work
  • Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including trash removal and exterior lighting inspections
  • Assist in pool upkeep, including filter maintenance, pump operations, and water testing
