Mandel is searching for a full-time apartment Maintenance Technician II to complete our team at Gaslight & Corcoran Lofts in Milwaukee's 3rd Ward. While this role will mainly be based out of Gaslight, this is a multi-site maintenance tech position and will require you to go to Corcoran Lofts throughout the week and sometimes during your work shift. In this role with Mandel, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiencies and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds, diagnosing work order requests, and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance. Duties of a Maintenance Tech II include: Perform general facilities services such as: plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc. Respond timely to resident maintenance work order requests and notify management upon completion of requests or of pending work order needs. Be available to work on-call hours in a rotation, which will include some weekends and night work. Keep amenity areas in clean and operable condition. Maintain and monitor all safety related equipment and required records. Participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections. Perform routine maintenance on vacant units in the most timely and efficient manner prior to new resident occupancy per Mandel standards. Grounds keeping duties to include trash removal and cleaning.
