What You Will Do: Interfaces with production/warehouse supervision to effect safe repairs to equipment and ensures that equipment is returned to operations in an acceptable condition Performs regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks Makes repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded Other duties as assigned Position Details: Plant location: McDonough, GA Plant Work week and shift: 3rd shift, Sunday - Thursday, 10pm – 6am Compensation package offered: $33.00 per hour with some OT

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment
1 year of experience with tools, procedures, and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment.
1 year of experience with electronic and PLC-based applications in an industrial environment.
Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Nice To Haves

Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on industrial applications or equivalent job experience in electricity, power distribution, industrial electrical wiring, mechanics, machine operations, general plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditionin,g and/or boiler operations
Able to work in difficult situations such as confined spaces, hea,t and in high places
Experience with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves, and rigging
Experience in a Lean Environment

Responsibilities
