About The Position

Performs maintenance work that facilitates the production of quality fittings and hose assemblies. Requires an associate's degree with 5-7 years of experience in the field and/or equivalent experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.

Requirements

Knowledgeable with 480v 3-phase and 110v., etc.
Follows safety policies to ensure hazards are eliminated
Demonstrate the ability to understand technical problems of a complex nature
Ability to complete OSHA 10-Hour Training
The ability to obtain a Master Electrician License
Proficient computer skills in all applications
A 2 year technical degree and/or equivalent experience A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience

Responsibilities

Performs assigned preventative maintenance schedules
Maximizes production and maintains quality by correctly repairing, maintaining, replacing, installing, and troubleshooting all mechanical and electrical systems.
Creates weekly action plan for achievement of improvement action items or assigned projects. (including gathering information, materials, scheduling machine downtime)
Performs uptime improvement action items for assigned production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic valves, pumps and cylinders
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic valves and cylinders
Must have prior PLC Troubleshooting experience and able to make adjustments to the program in conjunction with engineering requests
Maintains & monitors PM completion ratio
Ability to work overtime to support production needs
Work with production supervisors and operators to increase understanding of equipment operation to prevent equipment downtime.
Performs other duties as assigned
