About The Position

At Hawthorne Residential Partners, we are seeking dependable, motivated, and hands-on maintenance professionals who are dedicated to creating clean, well-maintained, and welcoming communities. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will independently handle work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and support the day-to-day upkeep across the community. This position requires HVAC certification and a working knowledge of routine repairs. The company fosters a LIVE IT culture, emphasizing kindness, community, and connection.

Requirements

  • High School or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • EPA/ HVAC Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred
  • CPO Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner
  • Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards
  • Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status in preparation for the next move-in as per company standard
  • Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning
  • Completion of preventative maintenance according to the guidelines outlined in company policy
  • Perform building and common area upkeep daily
  • Assist in keeping ground neat and free of litter, debris, and pet waste
  • Maintain shop appearance to facilitate quick assessment of supply inventory
  • Promote good professional relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff
  • Always display a friendly and courteous attitude towards prospects, residents, vendors, and other employees
  • Always maintain professionalism
  • Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled
  • Follow safety guidelines in accordance with OSHA and company policy and standards
  • Complete special projects as needed
