Maintenance Technician Overview: Perform facility and building maintenance including: plumbing, mechanical, facility painting, landscaping, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventive and predictive facility maintenance Learn to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots, fabrication equipment, hoists, lift tables, cranes, paint booths, etc Follows lock-out and tag-out procedures as needed to ensure safe work practices Assists with dismantling of machinery and replace defective parts Logs all service work performed, recording downtime during repair and accounting for equipment service requests Perform Lean and 5S functions related to maintenance Drive a forklift and maintain necessary certification Operate cranes, hoists, and aerial lifts Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Requirements

  • No minimum education required
  • 1+ years of related experience or an associates degree in Industrial Maintenance
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment

Responsibilities
