About The Position

Position: Maintenance Technician I Location: Bennett Creek, Jacksonville, FL, our 264-unit affordable residential community located in Jacksonville, FL 32216 (near Southpointe) At Richman Property Services, Inc., we strive to provide high-quality apartment communities that our residents are proud to call home. Requirements

High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
Valid Driver's License required
Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes

Responsibilities

Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Benefits

Competitive base hourly pay of $23.00 per hour!
All Maintenance Tech's become eligible for automatic quarterly pay increases every quarter following initial 90-day of service.
Tech's receive a monthly personal cell phone allowance of $40.00 per month, and are eligible for a discretionary bonus at year-end.

If you do not have your EPA I & II or EPA Universal, but have the right skills, experience and drive to join our Maint Team, RPS may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA within your initial 90-days of service.
