About The Position

Perma-Pipe in Hebron, OH is looking for a Maintenance Technician I (Entry Level) The Maintenance Technician I (Entry Level) performs basic preventive maintenance and supports higher-level technicians with equipment repairs and troubleshooting. This position is designed for individuals beginning a career in industrial maintenance who are interested in developing multi-craft skills. The role is situated in Hebron, OH and is not a remote or hybrid position. Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc is a dynamic, global supplier of pipe coating solutions and factory pre-insulated piping systems serving the oil & gas, district heating and cooling, and industrial markets. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0–2 years of maintenance, mechanical, or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to move throughout shop, yard, and facility areas.
  • Occasional bending, climbing, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift or move equipment and tools up to 25 lbs.

  • Vocational or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, filter changes, inspections, and equipment cleaning.
  • Assist in maintaining production equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Support senior technicians with basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Assist in repairs and maintenance of machinery, tools, and facility systems.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Maintain clear and organized maintenance records.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or equipment issues immediately.
  • Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and PPE.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop technical maintenance skills.
  • Continuously build knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
