About The Position

The Maintenance Group Lead will oversee day-to-day activities of the maintenance team, ensuring equipment uptime, safety, and reliability within our injection molding facility. This is a working leadership role that combines technical expertise with team coordination to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with plastic injection molding.
2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to be hands-on and lead by example

Nice To Haves

Experience with PLCs, automation systems, and robotic equipment (e.g., Fanuc, Yushin) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate daily maintenance activities and delegate tasks based on priority and technician skill sets.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines, automation systems, and facility equipment.
Monitor and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance tasks, work orders, and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety policies.
Provide technical support for projects, equipment upgrades, and new equipment installations.
Other duties as assigned.
