Maintenance Technician - Facilities & Attractions
About The Position
Jake’s Unlimited is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Facilities & Attractions to support the upkeep and operation of our 90,000 sq. ft. indoor entertainment facility, including building systems, arcade games, bowling, and carnival-style rides. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who enjoys variety in their day — from general facility repairs to supporting mechanical systems and attractions. You’ll work closely with an experienced maintenance team, including mechanics and game technicians, with the opportunity to learn across multiple disciplines and expand your technical skillset in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance, mechanical, or technical experience preferred
- Experience with basic mechanical systems, tools, and repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete tasks independently
- Comfortable working with hands-on equipment and learning new systems
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer/tablet skills for logs and work orders
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Experience with mechanical systems, rides, or similar equipment
- HVAC experience or certification
- Experience in entertainment, hospitality, bowling, or similar environments
- Preventative maintenance program experience
Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, repairs)
- Support maintenance and basic troubleshooting of rides, attractions, and bowling equipment
- Assist Lead Mechanic and Game Technicians with repairs and preventative maintenance
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and resolve maintenance or safety issues
- Respond quickly and effectively to operational issues impacting guests or staff
- Maintain lighting, HVAC support systems, restrooms, and kitchen equipment
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks across multiple areas of the facility
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, tools, and equipment
- Complete work orders, inspections, and logs accurately and on time
- Assist with event setup, teardown, and operational support
