About The Position

Holroyd Precision Rotos Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-performance compressor rotor screws, proudly based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. We specialize in precision-engineered helical components for a range of industries, and we're committed to innovation, quality, and advanced manufacturing technologies. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing multi-axis CNC machinery. You'll play a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC maintenance (multi-axis, metal-cutting machines preferred)
Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical (bearings, motors, belts), electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe work practices
Flexible availability for emergency call-outs
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience with machine alignments and upgrades

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC machines and facility equipment
Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Conduct repairs and calibrations on handheld and fixed equipment
Maintain facility infrastructure including fittings and fixtures
Manage spare parts inventory and place orders as needed
Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during repairs
Oversee and manage subcontractors on-site
