About The Position

Responsible for assisting with equipment installations, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining facility hygiene and safety standards. Acting as a primary resource for maintenance technicians. Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience with groundskeeping
Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in a commercial industrial, construction, or automotive setting
Forklift
Scissor Lift
OSHA 10 Certification
Ability to communicate machine problems, quality issues and other concerns or questions to departmental management
Basic math skills
Must be quality conscious
Ability to interpret specs
Ability to interpret schematics
Ability to use various/basic hand tools

Responsibilities

Assists maintenance technicians with performing diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and equipment.
Assists maintenance technicians with performing facility repairs.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to assist with performing required maintenance and service
Assist with site preparation, maintaining an inventory of parts, tools, and supplies and logging maintenance activities
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities such as lubricating gears, changing filters, cleaning machines, etc.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs floors using various methods and equipment
Dust, wash, and clean walls, ceilings, vents, light fixtures, windows, wash basins, blinds and other items in the facility
Cleans and stocks restrooms
Attend to grounds housekeeping
Occasional painting as needed
Sweep walks and parking areas, rake leaves, and remove snow as needed
Operates riding and push mower, weed eater, and other lawn tools
Perform other incidental seasonal tasks as needed
