About The Position

The Maintenance Tech II performs work in connection with the operation, maintenance, and security of building, grounds, and facilities in order to ensure efficient plant operation. HumanGood is the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California and one of the largest in the country, aiming to provide opportunities for all they serve to become their best selves.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related field (or equivalent combination of training and experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current and valid driver’s license and ability to be insurable to drive a community vehicle
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RealPage OneSite or similar property management software preferred
• Certification, license, or equivalent in a technical field (e.g., HVAC, building trades, building utilities) preferred, as required by state/local regulations

Responsibilities

• planning, scheduling, participating in, and inspecting the work of outside contractors engaged in the operation, maintenance, repair, and safeguarding of buildings and Community
