The Maintenance Technician 2 provides maintenance and repair services for Metro Health facilities under the direction and supervision of the Supervisor – Maintenance to ensure comfortable, efficient, continuous and compliant facility operation. This role involves utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work requests, documenting time, parts, and status, and managing assets. The technician will also use the Building Automation System (BAS) and other automated equipment systems for monitoring, troubleshooting, and alarm response. Key duties include completing required documentation for compliance, inspecting grounds, buildings, and equipment, conducting preventative maintenance and corrective work orders, and performing basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks. The position also involves reconfiguring modular offices, performing intermediate equipment repair, coordinating with vendors, mentoring others, assisting in process development, monitoring inventory, and transporting materials and equipment.
