About The Position

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing maintenance of the facility and production equipment to ensure our plants can add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You’ll be responsible for the installation, ongoing maintenance, and necessary repairs for the facility and the production equipment. You will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals
  • Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always safe and respectful

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in feed mill or agricultural processing environments
  • Familiarity with vibration analysis or reliability programs
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills
  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP, Express Maintenance)
  • Understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on feed mill equipment
  • Troubleshoot conveyors, mixers, and packaging systems
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement root cause solutions
  • Perform alignment, lubrication, and mechanical adjustments
  • Replace bearings, seals, belts, chains, sprockets, and gearboxes
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, reliability)
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records (CMMS preferred)
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and HACCP standards
  • Work closely with operations to minimize downtime
