About The Position

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit. How will you make a difference at LBHH? Maintenance Techs maintain a safe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees, and guests. Maintenance Techs are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks: Oversee HVAC systems and operation using the Building Automation System. Assisting and managing HVAC contractors performing repairs and preventive maintenance. General repair, painting, and maintenance of building. Maintain grounds which includes the coordination of managing lawn care and snow removal contractors. Carry out routine carpentry and plumbing maintenance and repairs. Prepare facility for special functions, including setting up tables, chairs and equipment. Respond in a timely manner to alarms and codes in accordance with safety and security policies and procedures. Provide rotational weekly on-call coverage as designated by department director for the maintenance and environmental of care of the hospital. What do our current staff value at LBHH? Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED, trade school and/or industry certifications.
  • Should be highly proficient in computer use.
  • Experience: 5 years construction and/or Maintenance experience.
