The Lead Facility Maintenance Technician position will be located in Channelview, TX and will service both Pasadena and Channelview TX locations.

Requirements

Knowledge of electrical work including high and low voltages (120/240 and 277/480)
Experience in general maintenance, good mechanical aptitude, able to work on multiple tasks and the ability to follow direction is required
Must have a valid Drivers License
Will possess a high school diploma or GED, have attended a vocational technical institution studying various skilled trades or has worked in a construction environment.

Nice To Haves

Industrial and Commercial work experience is a plus
Exposure to various skilled trades (i.e., mechanical, electrical, etc.).

Responsibilities

Will assist with local maintenance work, repairs, and various miscellaneous duties supporting the site.
Perform preventive maintenance on motors, motor controls, pumps and compressors.
Will assist with electrical work.
Perform boiler unit preventative maintenance, along with associated piping and valve repair or replacement.
Knowledge or willingness to learn the application of using steam through associated piping to maintain product temperatures as required by manufactures specifications.
