About The Position

Temp RPM Staffing is looking for a maintenance technician for a climate controlled warehouse in Van Alstyne. Job Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for line coverage in the assigned area utilizing production and maintenance processes and tools. Under the direction of production and maintenance supervision this position will be required to safely operate assigned equipment and maintain all line equipment to produce product right first time. This person will mentor, and coach machine operators as needed on various maintenance and operational aspects to master their technical understanding of equipment and process controls.

Requirements

Must be able to operate, maintain and provide quality inspections on all equipment in assigned area.
Strong understanding of PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic) and PLC hardware.
Experience with various PLC platforms, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric, is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work in a wet/dry environment where you are exposed to sensitive food ingredients and allergens.
Work well in a face paced and always changing manufacturing environment.
Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Required to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal Checks).
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
5 + years related experience required.
