Maintenance Tech
About The Position
Woodspear Properties, a national property management company, is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team! We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who is experienced and highly self-motivated. The position will require an individual who can execute quality work in a timely manner. This maintenance tech will work as part of a team maintaining 192 units in Aurora, Colorado. This individual will need to interact on a daily basis in a professional and courteous manner with residents and other team members, be able to discuss maintenance issues clearly, and have strong organizational skills to organize his/her workload, complete service requests, and meet with vendors.
Requirements
- Personal set of general tools
- Minimum 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a drug and background check
Responsibilities
- Perform daily walks, repairs and maintenance of the community common areas, grounds, and amenities
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
- Drywall, texture and patching repairs
- Respond to and complete maintenance work orders
- Perform quality Apartment make-ready turns
- Communicate and report maintenance issues to Supervisor and other team members
- Pool maintenance -- CPO designation a plus
- Grounds keeping and snow removal
- Must participate in on-call rotation and ensure punctual response to on call emergencies
