About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech to support production operations for a leading manufacturing client in Joplin. The Maintenance Tech will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal uptime, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required (college coursework preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (chains, gears, bearings, etc.)
- Proven experience with electrical and mechanical processing equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical processing equipment
- Perform regular inspections to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime
- Support line startups and adjust equipment for peak performance
- Assist in developing and completing preventative maintenance schedules
- Promote a safe work environment and follow all company policies
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members
- Adapt to additional responsibilities as assigned
