Requirements

High School diploma, or equivalent required
Experience in general Maintenance Work desired, preferably Health care maintenance
Valid driver’s license required
Knowledge of basic tools requiring dexterity, hand eye coordination and visual coordination
In good health with adequate strength and endurance to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Knowledge of how to work safely.
Willing to be trained in any of the categories of maintenance and repair in which he may have need of instruction.
Knowledge of the use of basic hand and power tools and test equipment used in maintenance.
Must be able to read and write legibly.
Strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual coordination
Communicates well with patients/visitors, department team members, and other hospital staff
Proficient in Word and Excel
Demonstrated ability in using machines, tools, repair of equipment, and maintenance
Demonstrated understanding of relevant equipment, policies (internal and network), and procedures to promote safe operations
