The Maintenance Technician (Painter) plays a key role in maintaining the appearance and integrity of our facilities through skilled painting, surface repair, and general cosmetic maintenance. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years of on-the-job experience in painting or cosmetic maintenance. Basic skills in painting, floor tile work, sheetrock repair, and other general building trade tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, paint, and finish interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Perform general maintenance and cosmetic repairs including floor tile, sheetrock, wallpaper, baseboard, ceiling tile, and carpet work.
  • Conduct light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, cleaning HVAC vents, and repairing or refinishing furniture.
  • Inspect work areas, identify repair needs, and complete tasks efficiently and safely in accordance with hospital standards.
  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure proper use and care of tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Assist with other building maintenance or renovation projects as directed by Facilities Management leadership.
  • Perform duties consistent with hospital policies, safety procedures, and Woman's mission of excellence in care and service.
