About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician III to inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and industrial equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, PLC experience, and the ability to work independently while leading and supporting others when necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or related field
  • Advanced to expert-level electrical knowledge required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
  • Electrical systems (24v–480v AC, single and three-phase power, DC voltage)
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Repairing industrial machinery and equipment
  • Electrical and electronic troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, control systems, and industrial electronics
  • Installation of machines, wiring, and control systems
  • Preventive maintenance practices
  • Computer proficiency for programming, diagnostics, and documentation
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Perform precise and detailed work
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Responsibilities

  • Analyze malfunctioning electrical and electronic equipment
  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and machinery
  • Repair computer-controlled manufacturing systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems (24v–480v AC, single and three-phase power, DC voltage, control systems, motor controls, etc.)
  • Perform PLC programming (create, edit, and troubleshoot programs)
  • Calibrate and adjust electronic equipment and instruments to specification
  • Install and replace wiring, circuits, fixtures, meters, regulators, and control devices
  • Solder electrical and electronic components
  • Test wiring, circuit connections, and electrical systems
  • Conduct safety inspections in industrial and manufacturing environments
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
  • Plan and organize electrical installations and repairs
  • Maintain and repair industrial machinery and related equipment
  • Modify electrical and electronic equipment as needed
  • Maintain equipment logs and repair documentation
  • Maintain spare parts inventory
  • Perform preventive maintenance to detect and prevent equipment failure
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and technical personnel
  • Communicate technical information clearly to supervisors and team members
  • Calibrate testing instruments and repaired equipment to required specifications
  • Diagnose equipment issues using testing equipment and software
  • Inspect components for defects such as loose connections and damaged wiring
  • Repair and replace worn or defective components
  • Set up and test equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Enter and manage schematics and programming information in computer systems
  • Evaluate whether standardized equipment can be used or if modifications are required
  • Assist in developing or modifying industrial electronic devices and circuits
  • Sign and document completed repair or overhaul work
