Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Tech III Electrician at our Crossett, Arkansas Plant.

Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Must be able to communicate in an effective and respectful manner.
Trained and passed Lift-Truck Operation Safety Course.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of two (2) years applicable technical trade-school and four (4) to five (5) years of electrical related experience.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of PLC and Programming.
Ability & knowledge to understand schematics

Responsibilities

Effectively work with other associates in the department to promote team spirit.
Wire all types of motors.
Ability & knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to all electrical control circuits, lighting, three phase, and all applicable electrical tasks.
Ability and knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to all electrical control circuits, lighting, three phase, and all applicable electrical tasks.
Ability and knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Responsible for good housekeeping of maintenance shop and work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Tow motor with or without maintenance platform.
Ensure all loads are safely loaded and properly secure.
Ability and knowledge to troubleshoot, repair and maintain various electrical components.
The ability and knowledge to understand and plan jobs based on electrical code and requirements.
Must clean up all parts and tools after all jobs.
Must close cabinet doors and guards after all jobs.
