Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Tech III Electrician at our Crossett, Arkansas Plant.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to communicate in an effective and respectful manner.
  • Trained and passed Lift-Truck Operation Safety Course.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two (2) years applicable technical trade-school and four (4) to five (5) years of electrical related experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of PLC and Programming.
  • Ability & knowledge to understand schematics

Responsibilities

  • Effectively work with other associates in the department to promote team spirit.
  • Wire all types of motors.
  • Ability & knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to all electrical control circuits, lighting, three phase, and all applicable electrical tasks.
  • Ability and knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to all electrical control circuits, lighting, three phase, and all applicable electrical tasks.
  • Ability and knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping of maintenance shop and work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Tow motor with or without maintenance platform.
  • Ensure all loads are safely loaded and properly secure.
  • Ability and knowledge to troubleshoot, repair and maintain various electrical components.
  • The ability and knowledge to understand and plan jobs based on electrical code and requirements.
  • Must clean up all parts and tools after all jobs.
  • Must close cabinet doors and guards after all jobs.
