Maintenance Tech II
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility and building systems. This role also involves completing specialized repairs in areas of technical expertise and carrying out general tasks for the maintenance and upkeep of the campus. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with the operation of the Central Utility Plant, which includes interfacing with the Building Automation System (BAS), Boilers, Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHU's), and other critical systems throughout the facility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Three years' experience in building trades or maintenance-focused role
- Must possess a valid Vermont driver’s license and safe driving record
Nice To Haves
- State Journeyman's License in one of the following trades: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry or a Class III (NIULPE / ASOPE) license preferred
- Comparative and cumulative number of years' experience in a related trade (e.g., HVAC, Refrigeration, and/or experience in excess of three years in the building trades) may be considered in place of licensure
