About The Position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Under the direction of a Lead/Supervisor perform preventative maintenance, general maintenance, installations and repairs to electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment/systems and/or routine maintenance duties on the facility, building grounds, equipment and machinery at the site · Use standard and special maintenance/repair tools including, but not limited to hand tools, saws, drills, cutting devices, grinding tools, measuring devices, etc. · Work with an attitude toward continuous improvement with a team approach to problem-solving and decision making. · Prioritize and assign jobs, monitor variances. · Ensure that appropriate records, instructions and prints are maintained. · Perform duties a safe manner at all times. · Follow policies and procedures including manufacturer’s instructions and related regulations (EHS, Hazcom, LOTO, electrical/mechanical safety, etc.) · Perform Machine Maintenance · Perform Plant and operations maintenance · Operating Procedures and/or work instructions. Is responsible for the quality of own work · Follows schedules, procedures and 6S housekeeping practices · Be goal-oriented toward manufacturing cost and work center efficiency · Offers ideas, suggestions, and improvement concepts for improving the utilization and productivity of the
Responsibilities
