The Maintenance Technician I performs a variety of skilled maintenance tasks across the organizationâs facilities, including preparation and ongoing support for our upcoming TAY Youth Center, scheduled to open in 2026. The TAY Health and Wellness Center will be located at 888 Post Street, San Francisco, CA This person will work independently and with other facilities staff to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician I will troubleshoot issues quickly, repair/replace parts/equipment and collaborate with contracted maintenance specialists to perform repairs. This person follows routine safety precautions and ensures safety procedures are followed at all times. Regular and predictable attendance is critical. The Maintenance Technician I must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and be on call for emergencies or disaster work.
