About The Position

North American Forgemasters has an immediate need for a Multi-Craft Maintenance position. This full-time hourly position is located in New Castle, PA and will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. Applicants ideally will have a strong background in heavy industrial maintenance. Requirements

A High School Diploma/GED.
Minimum of 1-3 years heavy industrial work experience
Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical experience, preferred
General computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work as a team player as well as ability to work independently
Knowledge of operating overhead cranes and fork trucks
A clean criminal background investigation.
A clean urine and hair follicle drug screening, performed upon offer of employment.
A commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Observe all safety rules and regulations, and meets all safety program requirements.
Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition per the housekeeping policy.
Complete all daily duties including crane and mobile equipment preventive maintenance inspections.
Troubleshoot mechanical & electrical problems to determine & correct root cause of problem or failure
Welding and able to repair mobile equipment
Troubleshoot & repair machines & equipment (all nature of repairs, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, civil & complete combustion systems)
Strong knowledge in power distribution & motor control with the ability to make repairs on 480V systems
Provide coverage as needed for other maintenance technicians
Work on rotating shifts with required overtime
Perform work in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company
Perform other duties as deemed necessary
