Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on general maintenance experience
• Skill in planning, delegating, and coordinating the work of others

• Ability to operate various hand and power tools
• Experience in repairing and or maintaining at least most of the following: Electrical Systems, Plumbing, Appliances, Flooring, Carpentry, Heating and air systems, Pools
• Ability to lead staff and build a team atmosphere
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask
• A creative and motivating personality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Superior customer service skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• EPA Certified with 3-5 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee the team of Maintenance Team Members
• Schedule and complete turns
• Responsible for completing occupied apartment service requests in less than 3 hours
• Manages the inventory of “ready” apartments to support the community’s marketing and leasing efforts and inspects ready apartments for move-in quality
• Spearheading maintenance initiatives
• Consistently exemplifying the Wasatch brand
• Embodying an owner's mindset
• Provide your team members with the necessary resources and support to thrive and succeed, fostering a positive work environment

Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $22.15 - 29.97 USD per hour depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus potential!
