About The Position
Essential Functions: Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance practices and procedures Supervise 3-5 hourly mechanical and/or electrical maintenance technicians, and any contract labor/services as necessary within the scope of batch house facilities and equipment Responsible for the overall equipment availability in the batch house, including preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, in conjunction with operations team lead Provide technical input to operations and maintenance management as needed This position reports to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles Other duties as assigned by manager Top 3 Competencies Needed for Success in the Role: Safety and Quality focus Empowers and Develops Innovation and Change
Requirements
- Related degree in science / engineering or proven equivalent experience
- Three to five years supervisory experience
- Minimum five years’ experience in maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves
- 2- or 4-year engineering or technical degree
- Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Safe work habits

Responsibilities
