About The Position

The Maintenance Support Specialist (MSS) is responsible for processing weekly reports and communicating findings to Maintenance Support Supervisor

Requirements

  • Two year certificate from college or technical school, six months to one related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring emails and faxes frequently and handling accordingly based on priority
  • Processing and reviewing daily invoices for discrepancies, duplicates and unauthorized charges and disputing as necessary
  • Responsible for monitoring specified accounts on a daily basis
  • Evaluates road calls and works with Breakdown agents for accuracy in documentation
  • Contacts vendors for invoices, DOT forms or any other paperwork needed before issuing payment
  • Communicates with the vendor in a timely manner for any issues, questions or concerns
  • Responsible for the weekly Comcheck report to verify all documentation has been received on outgoing payments
  • Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Support Supervisor
