About The Position

Hohman Plating, a division of Novaria Group, is a leading service provider for plated coatings, serving a diversified customer base including aerospace, medical, and large equipment. In business since 1918, the company is seeking long-term employees to join its team and is conveniently located one mile north of downtown Dayton. This is a 1st shift position, Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. The Maintenance Support Associate supports the Maintenance and Facilities teams by performing light maintenance, cleaning, and general facility upkeep. This role ensures a safe, clean, and organized work environment while assisting with basic material handling and support tasks.

Requirements

Basic familiarity with hand tools and safe lifting practices.
Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to learn.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED
Prior industrial or janitorial experience

Responsibilities

Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, storage rooms, and maintenance cages.
Move and stage tools, parts, and materials safely.
Perform simple upkeep tasks such as replacing lights, painting, or removing old equipment.
Use basic hand and power tools under supervision.
Support maintenance and inventory teams with general labor as needed.
Assist with janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
Follow written and verbal instructions with minimal oversight.
Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others.
Other duties as assigned.
