About The Position

As the Maintenance Supervisor at ProCaps Laboratories in Henderson, Nevada, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our state-of-the-art facility operates at peak efficiency. Leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will oversee maintenance operations to support the seamless production of our high-quality nutritional supplements. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives on problem-solving, innovation, and fostering a collaborative team environment. You’ll lead a team of skilled professionals in maintaining equipment, optimizing processes, and implementing sustainable practices to support our mission of delivering exceptional health products.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with cGMP standards, OSHA safety regulations, and best practices in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and implement effective, long-term solutions.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and related software.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with exceptional communication and team leadership skills.
  • Commitment to sustainability and identifying innovative ways to reduce environmental impact in maintenance operations.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working on machinery and systems.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and climbing ladders

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure all equipment and systems run efficiently and reliably.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Monitor and maintain the facility's critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and machinery.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to achieve high levels of performance and accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative, safety-first culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide training opportunities to support professional growth within the team.
  • Evaluate and recommend sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and waste within maintenance operations.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements to integrate new technologies and practices into operations.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with cGMP standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with the Quality and Safety teams to ensure alignment on compliance and operational goals.
  • Manage maintenance projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs, from planning to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to support operational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, budgets, and project timelines.
