About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor manages the daily requirements and scheduling for maintenance of plant equipment and facility needs. They coordinate these duties while leading a team of technicians within their department. What you will be doing: Promptly responds to address internal customer maintenance concerns, and effectively manages a system to conduct planned, preventive and predictive maintenance to optimize plant reliability, cost and asset life within established budget constraints   Must understand the plant layout, equipment, process flows and impact of process parameters on process outcomes and have the ability to troubleshoot problems as they occur, especially with regard to maintenance systems Supervises daily maintenance scheduling including safety work orders, routine work orders and preventative maintenance work orders Responsible for the proper management of spare parts inventory Maintains PLC, Electrical and P&ID drawings in AutoCad, PDF and printed format Provides diagnostic and troubleshooting support for maintenance, operations and production Maintain calibration of confined space monitors and electrical troubleshooting equipment Participates in HSE activities (i.e., Toolbox Meetings, Plant Audits, Incident Investigations, Hazard ID's . . .) Routinely monitors environmental conditions in the plant and takes appropriate investigative & corrective actions making timely notifications as required

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED, Post High School Technical School or College a plus
  • 3 years of automation., instrumentation and Electromechanical experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of experience managing a maintenance team
  • Experience using a CMMS system to plan, manage and analyze maintenance activities
  • Experience in plant safety systems such as Confined Space Entry, Hot Work Permitting and Lock Out tag Out of Industrial Equipment
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems of heavy industrial equipment
  • Basic skills in areas of industrial automation, instrumentation and electrical mechanical equipment installation, troubleshooting and repairs, PLC programming/automation activities and instrument calibration
  • Strong Excel, CMMS, Word and Outlook
