About The Position

Bio-Rad Washington's Maintenance Supervisor will manage and direct all building maintenance activities, including process equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities, assuring minimum downtime, continuous operational availability and quality availability of building features for all internal customers. Responsible for the direct management and daily supervision of the Manufacturing Maintenance staff and contracted service providers. Has primary accountability for ensuring that the Faciity and manufacturing equipment is maintained at optimum service levels through proactive monitoring and reliability analysis, rapid response to issues, and complicance with required company policies and quality systems. How You'll Make An Impact: Serves as the primary contact for all facility-related matters at the two Seattle Sites and secure outsourced maintenance vendors for these sites as required. Ensures consistent high quality and cost-effective facility operations to meet business objectives. Responds to facility emergencies 24/7. Manage and motivate the team. Create, track and maintain Maintenance Department expenses and budgets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years related experience in building and equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair with one year experience in a GMP/ISO regulated manufacturing environment
  • Technical education required
  • Experience with instrument repair, mechanical tools, and safety regulations
  • Experience leading and developing strong teams
  • Analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Solid computer skills and financial acumen

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
