About The Position

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor in Edgewood, Maryland! Windsor Valley Apartments is a three phase building consisting of 574 units. Habitat America offers its full-time employees competitive pay and competitive benefits! This fast growing, property management company is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region. Applicants who are qualified for this position have 3-5+ years prior apartment maintenance supervisory experience. Experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall and painting is needed. HVAC/CFC certifications are required for this position. It is imperative that the Maintenance Supervisor be able to work independently and also as a member of a team. This position is responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance. In addition to technical maintenance tickets, this position will assist with managing all site maintenance needs. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance team and coordinates all work needed. The Maintenance Supervisor directly reports to the Community Manager. An hourly wage increase will be given after successfully completing the 90 days probationary period. Requirements

Energetic, self-motivated individual who is able to work as a team
Must have 3-5+ previous experience with apartment maintenance; appliance troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.
HVAC/CFC Certification required
Must be able to understand and oversee work performed by contractors and bidding out contracts
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook and Word)
Organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple duties at one time
Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
Must have reliable transportation and possess valid driver's license
Requires extensive mobility and physical condition
Must be able and willing to work weekends when necessary
