About The Position

Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Maintenance Supervisor on a Government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, TX. Position Responsibilities: Supervises fleet maintenance for military and civilian equipment (inspections, services and repairs) using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army). Dependent upon the section assigned to, this position my oversee Quality Control (QC) inspectors conducting initial, in-progress and final inspections; painters and welders or mechanics performing services and repairs on tactical/combat vehicles, to include Fort Bliss Garrison Command equipment, Reset, Pre-Deployment Training Equipment and/or other equipment utilized at McGregor Range, NM. Ensures equipment is inspected, serviced and/or repaired IAW applicable Technical Manuals. Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on tactical and combat equipment requiring repairs and determine the reparability of items based on the Maintenance Expenditure Limit (MEL). Identifies technical training shortfalls and when necessary, trains inspectors or mechanics to diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions accurately using the latest equipment, technical manuals (TM), and procedures available. Validate customers estimated cost of damage (ECOD) and actual cost of damage (ACOD) for repairs; ensures vehicle/equipment condition classifications, ECODs and ACODs are completed in accordance with DA PAM 750-8. Conducts research on repair parts (materials) not received by its estimated ship date (ESD). Primarily responsible for enforcing safety and environmental standards in conjunction with maintenance operations. Performs employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel reports. Reviews and approve employee timesheets. Screen applicants and conducts interviews for open position. Ensures all employees observe policy, procedures and regulatory guidance for physical security, and monitors for compliance.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 2-year of experience managing Fleet Maintenance Operations, specifically Army Maintenance.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-year hands-on experience with GCSS-Army; the ability to provide information, data and reports using GCSS-Army is required.
  • Must possess in-depth knowledge of AESIP and Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC) applications.
  • Must have knowledge in completing necessary documentation such as DA Forms 2404/5988E Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, DA Form 2407 Maintenance Request, DA Form 24071 Maintenance Request Continuation Sheet, DA Form 7723 Maintenance Expenditure Limit Waiver, DA Form 461-5 Vehicle Classification Inspection, and other applicable DA/DoD forms.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
  • Able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language skills.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
