About The Position

Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Assistant Supervisor on a Government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, TX. This position is full-time but temporary . Anticipated period of performance ending 3 October 2026 . Position Responsibilities: Assist with planning, coordinating, and directing field and sustainment maintenance for wheeled, tracked, armament, power generation, communications & electronics (C&E), and utility equipment. Support maintenance teams conducting inspections, services, and repairs using GCSS-Army. Ensure equipment is maintained IAW applicable Technical Manuals, Maintenance Allocation Charts, and within the Maintenance Expenditure Limit (MEL) guidelines. Assist with validating Estimated Cost of Damage (ECOD), Actual Cost of Damage (ACOD), and equipment condition classifications in accordance with DA PAM 750 ‑ Conduct research on delayed repair parts and coordinate corrective actions as required. Provide daily support to the Site Manager in managing workforce operations, including workload distribution and maintenance workflow efficiency. Identify training shortfalls and assist in organizing or conducting required technical training for inspectors, mechanics, and support personnel. Participate in employee discipline counseling, performance reviews, and personnel-related documentation. Assist with screening applicants, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new personnel. Help enforce safety and environmental standards across all maintenance operations. Ensure all employees comply with physical security policy, procedures, and regulatory guidance. Support the Site Manager in monitoring compliance with all government, company, and project directives. Review, validate, and assist with approving employee timesheets. Support compilation, analysis, and distribution of maintenance reports, data pulls, and operational summaries. Assist with documentation including DA Forms 2404/5988E, 2407, 2407 ‑ 1, 7723, 461 ‑ 5, and other required DA/DoD forms. Maintain strong communication with government representatives.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience managing Army Maintenance Operations at the Battalion level or above.
  • Position requires comprehensive knowledge and daily operation of Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-Army).
  • Must have a minimum of 2-year hands-on experience with the Global GCSS-Army.
  • Must possess in-depth knowledge of AESIP and Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC) applications.
  • Must have knowledge in completing necessary documentation such as DA Forms 2404/5988E Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, DA Form 2407 Maintenance Request, DA Form 2407-1 Maintenance Request Continuation Sheet, DA Form 7723 Maintenance Expenditure Limit Waiver, DA Form 461-5 Vehicle Classification Inspection, and other applicable DA/DoD forms.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Must have strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.
  • Must be able to prioritize responsibilities in order to handle a demanding workload.
  • Must have a collaborative work style that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Electronic Maintenance System (EMS) and IADS (Interactive Authoring and Display Software)
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident for more than 3 years for CAC/ NACI eligibility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 18 years of age.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.

  • Previous soldier with Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 91X Maintenance Supervisor
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
