Requirements

  • EPA Certification (Environmental Protection Agency)
  • CPO Certification (Certified Pool Operator)
  • Proven supervisory and team leadership experience
  • Strong budget management and financial planning skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of apartment maintenance systems and procedures
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background verification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing large multifamily residential communities
  • HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certification or training
  • Experience with property management software systems
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable maintenance practices
  • Previous experience in a luxury or Class A community

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations across all 300 units and common areas
  • Lead, mentor, and manage maintenance team members to ensure quality workmanship and productivity
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets while controlling costs and maximizing efficiency
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
  • Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and ensure high-quality customer service
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and community policies
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services
  • Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas to identify maintenance needs
  • Train team members on proper maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
