About The Position

Join the team at a 600-unit Class B residential apartment community in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens as a Maintenance Supervisor. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee a skilled maintenance team while staying actively involved in day-to-day operations. Requirements

EPA Certification (required)
CPO Certification (required)
Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in apartment or multifamily maintenance
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and capital improvement management
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
Proficiency in work order management systems and basic computer skills
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

Experience managing large multifamily communities (500+ units)
HVAC, plumbing, or electrical maintenance background
Budget management and financial planning experience
Knowledge of property management software systems
Additional certifications in building systems or maintenance trades

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of 5 maintenance professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance management
Manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment longevity and minimize emergency repairs
Oversee daily work order processing, prioritization, and completion to maintain resident satisfaction
Assist with capital improvement projects from planning through execution, ensuring quality and budget adherence
Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and documentation for compliance and operational tracking
Conduct regular facility inspections and develop maintenance strategies to optimize community appearance and functionality
Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards
Coordinate with property management on resident requests and maintenance priorities
Participate in hands-on maintenance work as needed to support team operations
