How You Will Lead People & Culture You coach and develop a crew of 18 maintenance professionals. You model direct communication, productive feedback, and strong partnerships with Operations, Engineering, and EHS. PM & CMMS Leadership You build and run a preventive and predictive maintenance program. You manage CMMS data integrity, scheduling, and KPIs while elevating system discipline across the team. Reliability & Uptime Delivery You drive MTBF and MTTR improvements. You strengthen standard work, critical-spares readiness, and precision maintenance practices such as alignment, balancing, and lubrication. You will collaborate with the MRO/Supply Chain Buyer. Safety & Compliance Assurance You champion OSHA 29 CFR 1910 programs, LOTO, machine guarding, and NFPA 70E electrical safety. You maintain facilities in audit-ready condition and set the safety tone for the team in partnership with the EHS Manager. Budget & Reporting Ownership You manage the maintenance budget with accuracy. You oversee service contracts and monthly reporting. You partner with Operations on Annual Operating Plan, capital planning, and long-range reliability priorities. Multi-Site Coordination You support multi-site maintenance standards, coordinate contracted services, and travel within the local industrial park as needed. Reporting Structure You report to an Operations Manager and collaborate daily with leaders across all levels of a multi-site operation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading industrial maintenance teams in manufacturing or heavy-industrial environments.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold accountable a skilled maintenance workforce (current team: 18).
  • Hands-on CMMS expertise (NETfacilities preferred; Maximo/eMaint/Fiix acceptable).
  • Ability to build and refine asset hierarchies, migrate/clean data, and structure PM, PdM, and corrective workflows.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics/pneumatics, PLC troubleshooting, and plant utilities (chillers, compressed air).
  • Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint for KPIs, variance analysis, and maintenance performance reporting.
  • Strong command of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 requirements.
  • Familiarity with EPA impacts on plant operations.
  • Ability to apply NFPA 70E arc-flash/energized work rules and maintain accurate labeling.
  • Clear and confident communicator across technicians, peers, and leadership.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and root-cause abilities with a data-driven approach to reliability improvements.
  • Able to translate maintenance performance into visual KPIs and actionable insights.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Completion of Plum Assessment, interviews, drug screen, and background check required.
  • Safety-sensitive role: WTU tests for THC.
  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri, supporting multi-site operations in the area.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial disciplines — or equivalent applied technical experience.
  • Exposure to PLC programming/ladder logic.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance tools (vibration, IR thermography, ultrasound, oil analysis).
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems for work orders, notifications, and materials management.
  • Broader CMMS knowledge beyond NETfacilities (Maximo, eMaint, Fiix).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and sustain change using Lean, TPM, RCM, A3, 8D, or similar methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ADKAR® (Prosci®) principles for change management.
  • Experience optimizing PM programs, implementing standard work, and supporting layered process audits.
  • Skilled in contractor oversight, capital installation support, and safe commissioning practices.
  • Ability to build skill matrices, cross-training paths, and development plans for technicians.
  • Experience collaborating with regional technical schools or apprenticeship pipelines.
  • Prior involvement in multi-site maintenance alignment (procedures, KPIs, critical-spares strategy).
