PurposeProvide essential maintenance support for all equipment, the facility and plant operations to ensure established targets are met for Quality, Safety, Performance, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Actively support and encourage continuous improvement. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Practices the principals of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement under the GFSI guidelines. Maintain the safe and good working condition of all equipment, building, and plant operations. Execute, plan, and organize necessary repairs and tasks. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. Manage, maintain, and improve the Preventative Maintenance System (PMS). Perform preventive maintenance and implement necessary engineering changes to equipment. Diagnose, repair, and replace parts; test and make adjustments using a range of skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, and work orders. Manage the critical spare parts inventory, predict part needs, and communicate orders/deliveries to minimize downtime. Assist with the installation of new and existing equipment. Collaborate with external contractors, vendors, suppliers, and machine shops. Adhere strictly to all Quality, Safety and Environmental Procedures. Other duties as assigned.
