About The Position

The primary focus of this position is to Support G&M’s Operations of nearly 220 gas stations.  The job includes supporting C-Store Retail Operations with an assigned territory of sites.   The work consists of installation, troubleshooting & repairing some convenience store equipment.  Exterior and interior painting, minor plumbing, minor electrical, and minor construction work.  You will be working closely with the Area Managers to identify deficiencies at the stations providing support with repairs. This position will require work in the Inland Empire Area.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license along with proof of insurance are required.
• Must be able to use mechanical equipment including but not limited to motorized lifts and power tools.
• Must exhibit strong communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organization and prioritization skills.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to learn tasks quickly and work with little or no supervision.
• Must be a team player.
• Must adhere to all G&M safety standards and complete API Worksafe Contractor Safety Program.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Area Managers and the Maintenance Dispatch Team in support of all repairs of G&M Gasoline Retail sites.
• Perform installation of convenience store equipment.
• Install electrical outlets needed for convenience store equipment.
• Repair dry wall, doors, windows, cabinets, and interior store facilities.
• Painting newly built Gas Stations and existing G&M stations including canopies and restriping of parking areas.
• Troubleshooting plumbing issues for sites and performing minor repairs.
• Additional tasks include station rehab for new acquisitions, rebrands, as well as support for special projects, etc.
