About The Position

Keller's Flea Market, a premier shopping destination located in Savannah, GA, is hiring! We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Maintenance Tech to join our family. This position is responsible for providing support to site services by operating heavy equipment and power tools such as riding mowers, power drills, paint machines, forklifts, and more, while maintaining the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the premises. Requirements

Must have a general working knowledge of landscaping equipment including zero-turn mowers and trimmers
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, or HVAC systems
Proficiency with hand and power tools (sanders, pressure washers, ladders, etc.)
Age requirement is 18 and over
Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s License
Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
Be punctual and responsible
Previous experience preferred
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, climb, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull, and safely lift and carry tools and heavy materials
Ability to work safely in confined spaces and at heights, including the use of ladders and scaffolds

Responsibilities

Operate power tools and heavy machinery (CDL a plus)
Drive golf carts and company vehicles
Provide support for special events
Assist in all areas of the operations department
Building clean up and general grounds maintenance
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing
Service, clean, and supply restrooms based on immediate needs and daily schedules
Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
Plumbing maintenance and basic electrical upkeep
Mowing and landscaping operations
Painting duties including surface preparation, priming, patching, and finishing
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment
Perform color matching and texture blending
Pick up trash around the market lot, food stands, and parking areas
Ensure dumpsters and trash cans are emptied, swapped out, cleaned, and placed correctly
Repair dumpster wheels, covers, and related components as needed
Maintain cleanliness of compact area
Follow all safety rules when working around moving dumpsters
Manage food truck support operations: – Ensure generators, UTVs, and gas cans are fully fueled – Empty gray water from food trucks – Fill food trucks with clean water
Respond to vendor requests via radio
Deliver tables to designated vendor areas
Complete daily task forms documenting work activity
Use proper tools and equipment for each task
Perform other duties as assigned
